About Action Against Hunger

Since 1979, Action Against Hunger has addressed hunger on four fronts with programs in nutrition, water and sanitation, food security, and health. They are responsible for pioneering the F100 therapeutic milk formula that dramatically reduced the mortality rate during the treatment of severe acute malnutrition from 25% to 5%. The F100 formula is now an industry standard, used worldwide by major humanitarian organizations. Action Against Hunger's programs are also cost effective -- 91% of all donations go directly to the field.
