About Karine Milhorgne

Karine Milhorgne, Desk Officer / Mission Manager
Department of Operations
Hailing from France, Karine earned a Masters Degree in History from the University of Rennes, Brittany in 1991, and another Masters in International Negotiations with a concentration in Arab Studies from the University of Aix in France. Ms. Milhorgne completed her Arab Studies in Syria in 1995, and then joined a mission in Haiti. Karine worked with another French non-governmental organization for five years in the Middle East, the Balkans, and West Africa, as the Head of Mission and Director of Programs. She joined ACF-France in 2002 and worked as Head of Mission in Pakistan, North Afghanistan, Indonesia, Iraq, and Sudan. Her last mission was in Indonesia at the time of the tsunami. Currently, she works at ACF-USA in New York as Desk Officer, and is in-charge of the missions in D.R. Congo, Pakistan, and Tajikistan.
